DUSTIN MCNEILL

Dustin McNeill is the author of eight books released through Harker Press. A lifelong genre fan, he gets his kicks obsessing over old horror movies. After writing stints with HorrorHound Magazine and DVD ActiveDustin published his first book in 2014 with Phantasm Exhumed, which was warmly received by fans and filmmakers alike. In 2019, he notably teamed with co-author Travis Mullins for the critically-acclaimed Taking Shape book series, which the pair followed up in 2022 with Reign of Chucky: The True Hollywood Story of a Not So Good Guy. In 2023, Dustin penned yet another solo effort with House of Rejects: The Making of Rob Zombie's Firefly Trilogy. In 2024, he was invited to record an official audio commentary for Via Vision Entertainment's Blu-ray release of the original Halloween II.

JOSEPH MADDREY

Joseph Maddrey is the author of more than a dozen books, including The Soul of Wes Craven (2024); Nightmares in Red, White and Blue: The Evolution of the American Horror Film (2004); Not Bad for a Human, the official biography of film actor Lance Henriksen (2011); Simply Eliot, a biography of poet T.S. Eliot (2018); two volumes of Adapting Stephen King (2021-2022), and the graphic novel To Hell You Ride (2013). He has written or produced over 100 hours of documentary television, including episodes of Discovery Channel’s A Haunting, History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, Oxygen’s Snapped, and TVOne’s Payback.

TRAVIS MULLINS

Travis Mullins first dabbled into film journalism in 2017 by writing for Dread Central, one of the leading news sites dedicated to horror. The following year, he assisted with the creation of special features for Scream Factory's Collectors Edition Blu-ray of Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. An avid fan of the Halloween franchise, he made his first move into print publishing alongside Dustin McNeill with the Taking Shape duology, released in 2019 and 2020, respectively. In 2022, he re-teamed with Dustin for Reign of Chucky: The True Hollywood Story of a Not So Good Guy.

ANDREAS JOHANSSON

Andreas Johansson is undoubtedly the world’s most foremost expert on John Carpenter’s cult classic Escape From duology. From his home in Sweden, Andreas has tirelessly maintained TheEFNYLAPage.com for over twenty years, which has long been an incredible online resource for fans of Snake Plissken. In doing so, he has interviewed more than one hundred cast/crew who worked on Escape From New York and Escape From L.A. - including writer/director John Carpenter himself. The two Escape Artists book volumes mark his print writing debut.

MATTHEW C. DUPÉE

Matthew C. DuPée is the author of We're Here for the Krites: The Making of Critters and A Scary Little Christmas: A History of Yuletide Horror Films, 1972-2020, the latter published through McFarland Books. Brought up on a steady diet of classic and contemporary horror films in the early 80s, Matthew eventually attended Point Park University and graduated with a degree in film and video production in 2002. He has also written for Rue Morgue, Morbidly Beautiful, Offscreen, and Bright Lights Film Journal. He lives outside of Annapolis, Maryland with his wife, two children, and beloved Chihuahua-pitbull, Bella. Matthew continues his research into cult film history and is working on several additional projects, including a book examining the fascinating story behind the making of Albert Pyun’s post-apocalyptic rock-opera, Radioactive Dreams.

LOWELL GREENBLATT

Lowell Greenblatt was that kid at sleepovers who wanted you to rewind so he could see how the effects were accomplished. This has led to a fruitful career writing reviews and conducting interviews for Macabre Daily. Lowell is a human IMDb with a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from SUNY Purchase, who sustains himself on iced coffee and physical media. He resides in Queens, N.Y. with his wife Brittany, and their dogs, Merlin and Phantom.

LANCE HENRIKSEN

Lance Henriksen is a prolific genre actor and artist celebrated for his commanding screen presence and gravitas across film, television, and voice work. An NYC native, Henriksen rose to prominence through his collaborations with director James Cameron, most notably as the fan-favorite android Bishop in Aliens. A genre mainstay, he delivered unforgettable performances in The Terminator, Near Dark, and the cult classic Pumpkinhead, while also earning acclaim as FBI profiler Frank Black on the television series Millennium. With a career spanning more than five decades, Henriksen has become one of genre cinema’s most enduring and respected figures, known for bringing depth, intensity, and humanity to heroes, villains, and everything in between.

ICONS OF FRIGHT

Founded in March of 2004 by horror devotees Rob Galluzzo and Mike Cucinotta, Icons of Fright began its life as a fan-driven webzine devoted to long-form, in-depth interviews with genre legends and rising filmmakers alike. Soon joined by Jason Alvino and Adam Barnick, the Icons crew built a killer reputation amongst genre fans based on gusto, candor, and a genuine love of horror. Their thoughtful, career-spanning conversations earned the trust of iconic genre creators and helped preserve candid snapshots of horror history in the new millennium.

PAUL DOWNEY

Paul Downey is a freelance author based in Newcastle-under-Lyme in the UK. He works full time in Marketing and has also written books on the Black Christmas movies and Jaws: The Revenge. He is a keen amateur cinephile, especially for the horror genre plus a wide range of exploitation cinema.
